** NRA BASIC Safety of Pistol Shooting - LIVE FIRE CLASS** You must have a NYS Pistol permit to take this class. If you do not have a NYS Pistol Permit, then register for the NYS 18 Hour Concealed Carry course. This course can be used to apply for other nonresident states such as CT & FL This Instructor Led Course is both classroom & indoor shooting range. Register online & give us a call to pick a date. Course topics include, gun safety rules, proper operation of revolvers & semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge, pistol selection, storage, shooting fundamentals, pistol inspection, maintenance, marksmanship, & shooting range safety. Students will complete live fire training & receive the NRA Certificate of completion. This course qualifies to remove the restrictions on your permit. All class materials, ammunition, range time, targets & if needed firearms are included. This is a two part class. Both parts are done in one 8 hour day. Call or email.
